Riding With a Purpose - Fall Clinic Series

When you enter the arena to work your horse do you have a specific work plan? Do you have a strategy for your horse when you ride down the trail and encounter an obstacle that your horse will need to work through? Sometimes as riders we can feel that we have hit a plateau and could use some new ideas to help build confidence, and strengthen the relationship with our horse.

Our riding with a purpose fall series is designed to offer fresh ideas to the rider that can help both on the trail or when doing flat work in the arena. With a focus on both equitation and trail obstacles, riders will learn to develop plans for equitation patterns and trail work that will inspire and motivate both horse and rider as they continue training through the fall and winter.

R&M Stables in Hendersonville will host this series that will take place on the following dates:

September 11
October 9
October 23 (This clinic will take place at the Hendersonville Mounted Police training facility)
November 6

In this series, riders will participate in classes that educate the horse and rider in the areas of outdoor obstacles and equitation practices. The clinic is limited to 12 riders on each specific date. Each clinic will be held from 2-5 pm. In the first two sessions riders will divide time between an outdoor obstacle course and an arena where they will learn an equitation pattern. Week 3 will be held at the Hendersonville Mounted Police training facility. The focus will be on riding an outdoor course utilizing the trails. The final week returns to R&M where riders will complete a full equitation pattern and be scored on their ride.

To ensure high quality in this series each clinic will be limited to 12 riders. Cost for the series is $300.

If we have your paperwork on file there is no need to re-enroll. If you haven’t ridden with us in 2022 you will need to sign a new waiver. You must pay in full prior to your arrival to secure your space in the clinics.
