In our “pony camps,” children will receive daily riding time in the saddle and have the opportunity and responsibility for caring for our wonderful ponies. Our ponies are so much fun to be around. They are friendly, love children and are specially chosen to match your child’s size, skill and personality. Our unique emphasis on equine principles in and out of the saddle ensures that your child will learn about how a pony thinks and behaves.
Each day we will focus on riding techniques, safety, tack (saddles, bridles, halters), grooming, equine care, and good communication from both the ground and in the saddle. All activities are hands on where campers learn understanding and respect for our ponies.
At the end of each week, campers will show what they have learned in a pony parade that they will present to parents. This is a great way to round out your child’s pony camp experience.
One more thing--if your camper is very tall, no worries! We have horses available for those who have outgrown the ponies.
