R & M Stables' response to Covid-19
Parents:
R&M Stables will conduct business as usual beginning Monday March 23.
With the national mandate limiting gatherings of 10 people or less and CDC recommendation regarding social distancing of at least 6 feet apart, we feel able to operate safely according to these guidelines. We will modify our normal operating plan and ask that families pay careful attention to the following details.
The following procedures will be observed, effective immediately:

We will modify our normal operating plan and ask that families pay careful attention to the following details.
The following procedures will be observed, effective immediately:
- Upon arrival, parents should drop students off by the lower barn and then park cars in the driveway or top of the hill.
- Please park in an area with gravel only and do not drive on the grass. Due to the amount of rainfall, we would like to keep our lawns in good repair. Please pay attention to this detail.
- Parents will not be permitted to enter the stable where students are grooming and tacking up. We ask that parents remain in their car while students are in lessons.
- Siblings should also remain in the car. This is imperative for safety during our classes.
- All of our helmets and equipment used for lessons have been carefully wiped clean. We will wipe all reigns and helmets that are borrowed from R&M between each class.
- Once the class has concluded, we will ask students to return promptly to their car for dismissal. Our teachers will take care of returning all horses to stable or turn-out.
- DO NOT BRING SICK CHILDREN TO A LESSON! Any child showing any signs of illness should stay home. These symptoms include cough, runny nose, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea or fever in the last 72 hours, Any students exhibiting these symptoms that come to a lesson will be sent home
